Introduction to the Ukulele

Learn the Ukulele with Jeff Saxon

Bring your own soprano, concert or tenor sized ukulele, or use one available at the library in this workshop.

Learn how to:

• Tune a uke.
• Hold the pick and how to strum without a pick.
• Hold the uke and position your arms and hands.
• Properly fret notes.
• Play four basic chords--a simple explanation of what they are, why they're essential, and how to get up and running playing them.
• Use those four chords to play one or two easy and familiar songs.
